About Us

We're Locally Inspired, and we're a premier souvenir shop here in Port Washington, WI, since 2020. We specialize in products that reflect the unique culture and landscape of our area: a beautiful shop on Lake Michigan, stunning views, historical sites, and exciting local adventures. All of our gifts are handcrafted by local artists who share our passion for creativity and hard work. Locally Inspired provides something for everyone: art, clothing, coffee, and home goods. More than 140 local makers have contributed to our offerings so come see for yourself what we have to offer! We're looking forward to partnering with Port Washington and the surrounding communities to continue to provide custom gift boxes, and one-of-a-kind local creations. We'd like to personally invite you to wander in today for a wide variety of products, from clothing and accessories to body care and local art, creating the perfect gift for anyone on your list.

Our Story

Kelly Brown opened Locally Inspired in 2020 to follow a dream she had since she was a little girl. The concept of what kind of shop Kelly wanted to open came easily to her. She loves giving gifts, especially handmade gifts. There are stories behind the products, and she loves sharing those stories with others.

At Locally Inspired, we are excited to be able to support over 140 small businesses around Wisconsin and create connections to the people behind the products. We all crave connection, even more so now. A connection that cannot be replicated in an online environment. We are excited to connect with this community in real life and bring plenty of opportunities for you to connect with the people behind the products - from features on our website and social platforms to in-person events at our shop. Your support of the store allows the makers to focus on what they do best – their craft.

Locally Inspired is a community-focused retail shop located in downtown Port Washington, Wisconsin. We’ve collaborated with some of the most talented makers across Wisconsin to bring you a reliable selection of high-quality, handcrafted products. Every purchase you make directly supports the artisans represented in our store – your neighbors. We offer in-store shopping and online, with fast delivery options available locally. Our custom gift boxes are always a hit, as well as our workshops that help you create your own souvenirs.
